Privacy policy

Data we collect

Account data: name, email address and user identifier, managed by Customy Access, our identity provider. If you sign in with Google, we receive from Google only your name, email address and profile picture (openid, email and profile scopes). We do not access your Gmail, contacts, calendar or any other Google account data.

Data you add to Presentwise: wishes with their links, variants, prices you declare and private notes; tastes, sizes and measurements; your Gift ID design; invitations, connections and the permissions you grant each person; gift reservations and personal vouchers with no monetary value.

Minimal technical data needed to run the service securely, such as access logs, and a cookie that remembers your language.

How we use it

To provide the service: authenticate you, store and show your list, apply the permissions you choose and coordinate reservations without spoiling the surprise. Presentwise does not visit the stores in your links, does not process payments and does not store card or bank details. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Your list starts private. Another person only sees the wishes, tastes and fields you choose to share with them, and you can revoke that permission at any time. Someone who receives your list can reserve a gift; that reservation is hidden from you to keep the surprise.

We use providers that process data on our behalf: Customy (identity, website and usage metrics with internal identifiers, without the content of your wishes, links, tastes or reservations) and our server and database infrastructure. We only disclose data when required by law.

Use of Google data

Presentwise's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to create and identify your Presentwise account.

Security and retention

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and the database isolates each person and environment. We keep your data while your account is active. From your account you can download your data and request deletion; you can also write to us and we will handle the request within a reasonable time.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and remove Presentwise's access to your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. We may update this policy; the current version and its date will be published here.
